    What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can resit the exam that you did not pass; PeopleCert resit policies and fees apply. Our training includes practice questions and mock exams for both levels to build readiness, and our team can guide you on rebooking through PeopleCert.

    What is the format of the Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions, runs for 60 minutes and is closed book. The pass mark is 60%, which is 24 out of 40 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of how PRINCE2 combines with agile delivery.

    What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 50 scenario-based questions, runs for 150 minutes and is open book, with the PRINCE2 Agile publication permitted. The pass mark is 60%, which is 30 out of 50 correct. It tests your ability to apply and tailor the method.

    What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

    You need PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, or PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent to sit the Practitioner exam. There is no prerequisite for Foundation. Verify current accepted equivalents with PeopleCert.

    How are the PRINCE2 Agile exams delivered?

    Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert, either through OnVUE online proctoring available 24/7 or at authorised test centres. You sit two separate exams, one per level, and must pass both to hold both credentials.

    How long is the Practitioner certification valid?

    PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner is valid for three years. You can renew by retaking the Practitioner exam, by completing CPD through a MyAxelos subscription, or by passing a higher-level qualification. Verify current renewal options with PeopleCert.

    Do I need prior experience or agile knowledge?

    No. The course starts at Foundation level and needs no prior PRINCE2 or agile experience, so beginners can join. Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban helps but is not required. The programme builds you up to the applied Practitioner level with guided practice.

    What topics does the PRINCE2 Agile course cover?

    Foundation covers the agile mindset, blending agile with PRINCE2, stakeholder engagement, agile leadership, risk and change, progress tracking, roles, scalable agility and value. Practitioner then applies and tailors these across realistic project scenarios.

    Which agile frameworks are covered?

    The course covers Scrum as the primary framework, plus Kanban, Lean Startup and Scrumban, along with awareness of scaling approaches. You also learn techniques such as MoSCoW prioritisation, timeboxing and burn charts within the PRINCE2 structure.

    How long is the PRINCE2 Agile programme?

    The combined programme is typically delivered over about 32 hours of training covering both levels, scheduled as full or half days depending on the batch. Foundation content comes first, followed by Practitioner content and exam preparation.
