    What is the format of the two PRINCE2 Agile exams?

    The Foundation exam is closed book with 40 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes. The Practitioner exam is open book with 50 scenario-based questions in 150 minutes, using the PRINCE2 Agile publication. Both are set by PeopleCert.

    What is the passing score for each exam?

    Both exams require 60% to pass. That is 24 out of 40 questions for Foundation and 30 out of 50 questions for Practitioner. Both are delivered online with proctoring or at a PeopleCert test centre.

    What are the prerequisites for each level?

    PRINCE2 Agile Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent. Confirm current accepted equivalents at peoplecert.org.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    The PRINCE2 Agile publication is permitted during the Practitioner exam. However, the scenario-based questions require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient navigation and solid method knowledge are both needed.

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    You can resit the exam that you did not pass; retake policies and fees are set by PeopleCert. Our training includes structured practice and mock exams to build your readiness, and our team can guide you on rebooking. Talk to a learning advisor.

    What will I learn in the PRINCE2 Agile programme?

    You will learn the agile mindset, how PRINCE2 governance blends with agile delivery, the five targets for agile, agile roles and stakeholder engagement, and techniques such as MoSCoW, timeboxing, burn charts and Kanban, plus how to tailor the approach at Practitioner level.

    Do I need prior agile or PRINCE2 experience?

    No prior experience is required for Foundation. Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban or PRINCE2 is helpful but not mandatory. The programme is structured to take beginners and experienced practitioners through both levels with guided support.

    What agile frameworks does the course cover?

    The course covers Scrum as the primary framework, along with Kanban, Lean Startup and Scrumban, plus awareness of scaling approaches, all within the PRINCE2 governance structure.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive accredited PRINCE2 Agile courseware, practice questions aligned to both exam formats, mock exams, and reference guidance on the PRINCE2 Agile publication and syllabus for both Foundation and Practitioner levels.

    Will I receive a certificate of completion?

    Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate. Your official PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner credentials come from PeopleCert once you pass each exam.
