Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a two-level qualification covering the knowledge, models and practices needed to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation validates your understanding of change concepts, while Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real scenarios. It is aligned to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK).

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level qualification covering the knowledge, models and practices needed to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation validates your understanding of change concepts, while Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real scenarios. It is aligned to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK).

Who should take this change management course in Egypt?

It suits change managers, project and programme managers, HR business partners, OD practitioners, consultants and leaders who sponsor change. With Digital Egypt 2030 and transformation programmes expanding across banking, telecoms and the public sector, it is valuable for anyone leading or supporting change.

Is the change management credential worth it in Egypt?

Yes. Certified change professionals are scarce in Egypt compared with the deep pool of project managers, so the credential helps you stand out. Organisational Change Manager roles average around E£720,000 a year, with transformation leadership reaching considerably higher. Talk to a learning advisor about your goals.

Which body governs the change management qualification?

The qualification is grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK), maintained by the Change Management Institute and the Agile Business Consortium. The course follows the current Change Management Practitioner Guide and the official Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

    Is the certification recognised internationally?

Yes. It is a globally recognised, vendor-neutral change management qualification respected across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and markets where organisational change is an established discipline, including employers operating in Egypt.

    Pricing

What is included in the training fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across both levels, courseware aligned to the CMBoK, case studies, mock exams and practice questions, and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion can vary, so confirm the current package when you enrol. Request a quote for full details.

How much does the course cost in Egypt?

Pricing depends on the delivery format and whether exam vouchers are bundled, so it is available on request. Contact a learning advisor for current pricing in your preferred format and ask about group rates.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

Exam voucher inclusion varies by package and region. Some options bundle the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers, while others are training only. Confirm what is included for your chosen package before you enrol.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams, PMOs, HR functions and transformation offices across Egypt. Ask about corporate or group pricing for a tailored quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are there and what is the format?

There are two separate exams. The Foundation exam is 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, closed book, with a 50% pass mark (25 out of 50). The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each (80 total) over 2.5 hours, open book, with a 50% pass mark (40 out of 80).

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the Practitioner exam. However, the five scenario sections require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and solid method knowledge are both essential, which is why we drill open-book technique.

What are the prerequisites for each exam?

Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Practitioner exam requires the Change Management Foundation certification, or an accepted equivalent. In the combined programme you take Foundation first, then Practitioner.

Which standard and syllabus are the exams based on?

Both exams are based on the current Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi and the Change Management Practitioner Guide, aligned to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) from the Change Management Institute. Our courseware is kept aligned to these current versions.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first try?

You can resit an exam if needed, and our trainers provide guidance and mock exams to help you prepare for both the Foundation and Practitioner exams on the first attempt. Resit policies vary, so confirm the details for your package with our team.

    Course Content

What topics does the training cover?

The programme covers five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organisation, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. Foundation covers them at knowledge level and Practitioner at application level.

Which change models will I learn?

You will study a broad range of models, including the Bridges Transition Model, ADKAR, Lewin's three-step model, Kotter's eight steps, the McKinsey 7-S framework, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence, and how to apply them.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. Foundation has no prerequisites and is beginner friendly, so you do not need prior change management experience. The programme builds from core concepts to applied practice, with trainer support and scenario exercises throughout.

How long is the programme and how is it delivered?

It is a 40-hour combined programme delivered as live virtual instructor-led training, classroom training, or customised corporate group training. The number of days varies with the daily schedule format you choose.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive courseware aligned to the CMBoK and the exam syllabi, industry case studies, Foundation and Practitioner practice questions, and mock exams to help you identify weak areas and build readiness for both exams.
