    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes. It is closed book and the pass mark is 60 percent, which is 24 out of 40 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of PRINCE2 Agile.

    What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 50 scenario-based questions in 150 minutes. It is open book, with the PRINCE2 Agile publication permitted, and the pass mark is 60 percent, which is 30 out of 50 correct. It tests your ability to apply and tailor the method.

    What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

    You need PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, or PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent, before sitting the Practitioner exam. Foundation itself has no formal prerequisites, so many learners take both levels in the combined programme.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    You may use the PRINCE2 Agile publication during the Practitioner exam. However, questions require scenario analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient navigation and deep method knowledge are both needed, which our practice builds.

    What happens if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can resit. Our preparation, mock exams and scenario practice are designed to build first-time readiness, and selected plans include retake support. Confirm the current PeopleCert resit policy and any fees before you book.

    What topics does the training cover?

    Foundation covers the agile mindset, blending agile with PRINCE2, stakeholder engagement, risk and change control, progress tracking, roles and value-driven thinking. Practitioner adds tailoring, guiding delivery, managing by stages and applying agile techniques in scenarios.

    Do I need PRINCE2 experience before enrolling?

    No. You can start at Foundation level with no prior PRINCE2 or agile experience. Prior familiarity with Scrum or Kanban helps, but it is not required. The programme builds from the fundamentals up to Practitioner application.

    What agile frameworks are covered?

    The training covers Scrum as the primary framework, along with Kanban, Lean Startup and Scrumban, plus awareness of scaling approaches. You also learn techniques such as MoSCoW, timeboxing, retrospectives and burn charts within PRINCE2 governance.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner syllabus published by PeopleCert and AXELOS, and to the PRINCE2 Agile publication used as the Practitioner open-book reference.

    What study materials and practice are provided?

    You receive accredited courseware, practice questions mapped to both exam formats, full-length mock exams, and open-book technique practice for the Practitioner. Topic-wise revision aids help you identify and close gaps before exam day.
