What Is the Observability Foundation Certification?Your Route into Modern Observability

Observability Foundation certification training in Japan prepares IT professionals to understand and implement observability across modern, cloud-native systems. The Observability Foundation (OBSF) is a vendor-neutral credential from the DevOps Institute that validates a working grasp of the three pillars of observability, metrics, logs and distributed traces, along with the tooling and practices that keep distributed services reliable. Aligned to the current Observability Foundation Exam Blueprint (Body of Knowledge), the programme covers OpenTelemetry, SLIs, SLOs and error budgets, alerting strategy and incident response. You prepare for the 40-question, 60-minute open-book exam and earn a globally recognised badge that stays valid for three years. As Japanese enterprises accelerate cloud migration and sovereign-AI programmes, employers across Tokyo and beyond are hiring engineers who can see inside complex systems. Build that capability and start your Observability Foundation journey with Invensis Learning.

Invensis Learning is a Peoplecert Accredited Training Organization (2778) in Japan, approved to deliver official Observability Foundation training using accredited courseware and standards.

Where Observability Skills Lead in JapanRoles, Demand and Salaries

Observability has become a core skill across Japan's IT services, fintech, e-commerce and gaming sectors as organisations run large, cloud-native systems that must stay reliable. With a reported shortage of around 200,000 IT professionals, employers are competing for engineers who can instrument, monitor and troubleshoot distributed systems. Demand spans monitoring and DevOps engineers through to SRE and platform engineering leads, and here is what the market is showing right now.

Why Observability Skills Are in Demand Across Japan

Observability Foundation is more than a badge. It is a career multiplier for engineers who keep modern systems reliable. Build the skill Japanese employers are hiring for and start today.

    Your Japan Career Transformation

    From Firefighting to Full Visibility

    Your Observability Transformation

Japan's shift to cloud-native systems and its deep IT talent shortage mean employers increasingly separate engineers who can operate observable systems from those who cannot. Here is which side of that line you want to be on.
