What Is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner Certification?Your Route into Change Leadership

The Change Management Foundation and Practitioner Certification (CM-F and CM-P) is a two-level qualification that validates your ability to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation confirms your knowledge of change concepts and models, while Practitioner proves you can apply them to real organisational scenarios. Change Management certification training in Moldova with Invensis Learning covers both levels in one combined programme, grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute and the current Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi. You work through established frameworks including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, Lewin's model and the McKinsey 7-S framework. As Moldova's banks, IT firms and public bodies push through modernisation under the national Digital Transformation Strategy 2023 to 2030, professionals who can lead change and reduce resistance are increasingly valued. Whether you are based in Chisinau or working remotely, this is a clear, supported route to a credential recognised worldwide. Start your change management journey with Invensis Learning.

    General

Is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification worth it?

Yes. It validates that you can lead the people side of change, a skill in growing demand across Moldova's IT, banking and public sectors as they modernise. Change and transformation roles command strong salary bands, and the credential is recognised worldwide.

What is the Change Management certification and who is it for?

It is a two-level qualification covering the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change models; Practitioner proves you can apply them. It suits change managers, project managers, HR business partners, OD practitioners and leaders sponsoring change.

Which standard and body is the course based on?

The training is aligned to the current Change Management Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi and the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK), maintained by the Change Management Institute. The Practitioner exam is based on the Change Management Practitioner Guide.

Do I need experience to start Change Management training?

No. Change Management Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. To sit the Practitioner exam you must first hold the Foundation certification or an accepted equivalent.

Is the certification recognised in Moldova and internationally?

Yes. The Change Management qualification is recognised in over 150 countries and valued by employers running transformation, including IT firms, banks and public bodies in Moldova and across Europe.

    Pricing

What is included in the Change Management course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across both levels, courseware aligned to the CMBoK syllabi, Foundation and Practitioner practice questions and mock exams, and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion varies, so confirm when you enquire. Request a quote for the current package.

How much does Change Management training cost in Moldova?

Pricing varies by delivery format, whether exam vouchers are bundled, and individual versus corporate booking. Fees are available on request. Talk to a learning advisor for a quote tailored to your needs in Moldova.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam voucher inclusion depends on the package you choose. Some bundles include both the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers, while others price them separately. Confirm the current inclusion with Invensis Learning before you enrol.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for change teams, PMOs and HR functions. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    Exam

What is the format of the two Change Management exams?

Foundation is a closed-book, multiple-choice exam of 50 single-answer questions in 40 minutes, with a 50% pass mark (25 out of 50). Practitioner is open book with 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each (80 total) in 2.5 hours, passing at 50% (40 out of 80).

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario sections need analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and solid method knowledge are both essential.

How many exams are there and in what order?

There are two separate exams. You sit Foundation first, then Practitioner, which requires the Foundation certification. You must pass both to hold both credentials, and the combined programme prepares you for each in turn.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

The programme includes mock exams and structured practice for both levels to prepare you well. If a resit is needed, retake policies and any resit fees vary by provider and region, so confirm the details with Invensis Learning when you enrol.

Where can I take the exams?

Both exams are delivered by online proctoring or at an authorised test centre, and are typically taken at the end of the relevant training. This lets learners in Chisinau and across Moldova sit the exams from home, office or a centre.

    Course Content

What topics does the Change Management syllabus cover?

Five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organization, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. Foundation covers them at knowledge level and Practitioner at application level.

How long is the training and how is it delivered?

The combined programme is a 40-hour course, delivered as an intensive or extended schedule depending on the format. You can choose live virtual, classroom or corporate group delivery to fit your schedule.

What materials and practice resources are provided?

You receive courseware aligned to the CMBoK syllabi, case studies illustrating change models and stakeholder engagement, Foundation and Practitioner mock exams, and practice questions to build readiness for both exams.
