    Scrum Theory and Empiricism

Understand the empirical foundations of Scrum and the three pillars of transparency, inspection and adaptation, and see why the framework thrives in complex, changing work. This is the self-contained answer to what you will learn in CSM training: how Scrum actually works and why.

The Five Scrum Values in Practice

Apply commitment, focus, openness, respect and courage to build trust and psychological safety, and learn how living these values underpins the three pillars and makes Scrum adoption stick within a team.

    Scrum Team Accountabilities

Master how the Scrum Master, Product Owner and Developers work as one self-managing, cross-functional team, and understand self-management, cross-functionality and the servant-leadership stance that holds it together.

    Facilitating the Five Scrum Events

Learn to facilitate the Sprint, Sprint Planning, the Daily Scrum, the Sprint Review and the Sprint Retrospective, including every timebox rule and practical formats that keep each event focused and productive.

    Managing the Three Scrum Artifacts

Work with the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog and Increment and their commitments, the Product Goal, the Sprint Goal and the Definition of Done, to create transparency and keep the team focused on value.

The Scrum Master as Servant Leader

Build the servant-leadership, coaching and facilitation skills to serve the team, the Product Owner and the wider organisation, removing impediments and driving Scrum adoption rather than directing the work.
