    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 60%, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests your knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, over 150 minutes. It is open book, using the PRINCE2 manual, and scenario based. The pass mark is 60%, which is 42 out of 70 marks. It tests your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    It means you may refer to the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual during the Practitioner exam. Questions require analysis and judgement rather than simple look-up, so time management and knowing the manual well remain essential.

    Do I need Foundation before taking Practitioner?
