    What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

    Our training includes mock exams and guidance designed to prepare you to pass both EXIN examinations on the first attempt. If a resit is needed, EXIN's re-sit policy applies; our team will guide you through booking a re-examination.

    How many exams are in the combined programme?

    There are two separate EXIN examinations: the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials. The Foundation exam is typically taken before the Practitioner exam.

    What is the format of the two EXIN BCS exams?

    Both exams are closed book with 40 questions and a 60-minute duration. The Foundation exam uses single-answer multiple-choice questions on concepts, while the Practitioner exam uses scenario-based multiple-choice questions that test applied judgement.

    What is the passing score for the exams?

    The passing score is 65% for both exams, which is 26 out of 40 questions correct. This applies to both the Foundation and Practitioner examinations.

    Where can I sit the EXIN BCS exams in Belgium?

    You can take both exams online through EXIN's online proctored exam system, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. Exams are usually arranged through your accredited training provider as part of the combined programme.

    Do I need prior experience to take this course?

    No. The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to all, including those new to business analysis. The Foundation certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner level, and the combined programme prepares you for both.

    What topics does the course cover?

    The course covers investigation techniques, requirements engineering and management, business process modelling, stakeholder analysis, strategy analysis and business case development, then applies these techniques in realistic project scenarios for the Practitioner level.

    Which standard is the training based on?

    The training is aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge and the official EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications, so what you learn maps directly to what both exams assess.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive EXIN BCS aligned courseware, industry-driven case studies, and Foundation and Practitioner practice questions and mock exams to build exam readiness and reinforce the techniques covered.

    How is the combined programme structured?

    It is delivered as a 32-hour instructor-led programme, typically covering Foundation content first and Practitioner content second. The schedule can run over four intensive days or across more days with shorter sessions.
