    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions to complete in 60 minutes. It is closed book with a pass mark of 60%, meaning 24 of 40 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of PRINCE2 Agile and has no formal prerequisites.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 50 scenario-based questions to complete in 150 minutes. It is open book, with the PRINCE2 Agile publication permitted, and the pass mark is 60%, meaning 30 of 50 correct. It tests your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 Agile.

    What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

    You need PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, or PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent to sit the Practitioner exam. The Foundation exam itself has no prerequisites, so this combined programme covers both levels in sequence.

    How and where are the exams delivered?

    Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert through OnVUE online proctoring, available 24/7, or at authorised test centres. You sit two separate exams and must pass both to hold both credentials.

    What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can resit the exam through PeopleCert; resit fees and policies are set by PeopleCert, so confirm the current terms at peoplecert.org. Our courseware, mock exams and trainer guidance are designed to prepare you thoroughly for a first-time pass.

    What will I learn in the PRINCE2 Agile course?

    You learn to blend PRINCE2 governance with agile delivery, apply the five targets for agile and the PRINCE2 Agile hexagon, work with Scrum, Kanban and Lean Startup, use MoSCoW and burn charts, and tailor the method to real projects at Practitioner level.

    Do I need prior PRINCE2 or agile experience?

    No prior experience is required for the Foundation content, though familiarity with Scrum or Kanban is helpful. The programme builds from the mindset and concepts up to applied tailoring, so beginners and experienced practitioners can both follow it.

    How is the combined programme structured?

    The combined programme typically runs over four days, around 32 hours in total. Foundation content is covered first, followed by the Practitioner content and scenario practice, with the two exams taken separately as you complete each level.

    Is the courseware aligned with the current syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PRINCE2 Agile publication and the PeopleCert (AXELOS) Foundation and Practitioner syllabus, so you study the framework as it is examined today.
