    What is the passing score for each exam?

    The passing score is 65% for both exams, which is 26 correct answers out of 40. You must sit and pass both the Foundation and the Practitioner exams to hold both credentials.

    Are there any prerequisites?

    The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Foundation certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner level, which is why the combined programme covers both in sequence.

    Where can I take the EXIN BCS exams?

    You can take both exams online through EXIN's online proctored system or at an EXIN accredited testing location. They are usually arranged through your accredited training provider as part of the combined programme.

    What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

    You can re-sit an EXIN exam by purchasing a new voucher; verify the current re-sit policy at exin.com. Our training includes mock exams and practice questions for both levels to help you prepare thoroughly and pass with confidence.

    What topics does the course cover?

    The Foundation level covers business analysis concepts, strategy analysis, investigation techniques, stakeholder management, process and requirements modelling, and business cases.     Yes. The Foundation level assumes no prior business analysis knowledge, so beginners and career changers are welcome. The programme then builds toward applied Practitioner skills, with trainer support and practice throughout to keep you on track.
