What Is the Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner Certification?Your Route from Concepts to Applied Practice

The Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner (BA F&P) certification is a two-level credential from EXIN, developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, that validates both the knowledge and the applied practice of business analysis. Business analysis certification training in Bahamas with Invensis Learning prepares you for both EXIN BCS examinations in one guided, instructor-led programme. The course is aligned to the current EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner examination specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge. The Foundation level builds comprehension of business analysis concepts, investigation techniques, requirements engineering and stakeholder management, while the Practitioner level tests how you apply those techniques in realistic project scenarios. It suits aspiring analysts, project and IT professionals moving into the role, and practising analysts across Nassau's banking, fintech and public sector who want a globally recognised qualification. Both certifications are valid for life with no renewal, so the credential lasts. Start your business analysis journey with Invensis Learning and earn two respected credentials on one clear path.

    General

What is the Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level EXIN BCS credential, developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation level validates knowledge of business analysis concepts and techniques, and the Practitioner level validates your ability to apply them in real project scenarios. Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

Who should take this business analysis course in the Bahamas?

Is the EXIN BCS business analysis certification recognised in the Bahamas?

Yes. EXIN operates in over 165 countries and BCS is the UK's chartered professional body for IT, so the credential is recognised internationally, including across the Caribbean and Commonwealth. It is valued by financial services, fintech and public sector employers in the Bahamas.

Why choose Invensis Learning for this training?

    Pricing

How much does the business analysis training cost in the Bahamas?

Fees vary by delivery format and the package you choose, and typically bundle the combined training with both exam vouchers. For current pricing in the Bahamas, request a quote and a learning advisor will share the options that suit you.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee usually covers specification-aligned courseware, case studies, Foundation and Practitioner practice questions and mock exams, learner support and a course completion certificate. Exam voucher inclusion depends on the package, so confirm when you enrol. Request a quote for full details.

    Exam

What is the format of the two exams?

Both are closed-book, multiple-choice exams of 40 questions in 60 minutes. The Foundation exam uses single-answer questions testing knowledge across 14 topic areas, while the Practitioner exam uses scenario-based questions testing applied skills across 7 topic areas.

What is the passing score for each exam?

The passing score is 65% for both exams, which is 26 correct answers out of 40. You must sit and pass both the Foundation and the Practitioner exams to hold both credentials.

    Are there any prerequisites?

The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Foundation certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner level, which is why the combined programme covers both in sequence.

Where can I take the EXIN BCS exams?

You can take both exams online through EXIN's online proctored system or at an EXIN accredited testing location. They are usually arranged through your accredited training provider as part of the combined programme.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

You can re-sit an EXIN exam by purchasing a new voucher; verify the current re-sit policy at exin.com. Our training includes mock exams and practice questions for both levels to help you prepare thoroughly and pass with confidence.

    Course Content

What topics does the course cover?

The Foundation level covers business analysis concepts, strategy analysis, investigation techniques, stakeholder management, process and requirements modelling, and business cases. The Practitioner level applies these across strategic context, current-situation analysis, solution options and business-case building.

How do the Foundation and Practitioner levels differ?

Foundation tests knowledge and comprehension of business analysis concepts using single-answer questions. Practitioner tests application and analysis, using scenario-based questions that ask you to apply techniques to realistic project situations. The programme prepares you for both.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The Foundation level assumes no prior business analysis knowledge, so beginners and career changers are welcome. The programme then builds toward applied Practitioner skills, with trainer support and practice throughout to keep you on track.

Are practice tests and materials provided?

Yes. You receive specification-aligned courseware, industry case studies, and Foundation and Practitioner practice questions and mock exams. These help you identify weak areas and build readiness for both exams.

Is the courseware aligned to the current specifications?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner examination specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so you study exactly what the exams assess.
