    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to complete in 60 minutes. It is closed book, with a passing score of 60 percent (36 out of 60). It tests your knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 7 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, over 150 minutes. It is open book, with the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual permitted, and uses scenario-based questions. The passing score is 60 percent (42 of 70 marks).

    Do I need to pass Foundation before Practitioner?

    Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation is a prerequisite for the Practitioner exam. In the combined pathway you typically sit Foundation first, then Practitioner. Some equivalent qualifications such as PMP or CAPM are also accepted for Practitioner entry, verified with PeopleCert.
