Is a completion certificate included in the price?

Yes. On finishing the programme you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning at no extra cost. This is a practical skills course, so there is no separate examination or external credential fee.

Assessment

Is there an exam for the Lean Manufacturing course?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Lean tool exercises, waste identification activities, manufacturing case studies and team discussion during the programme.

What do I receive on completion?

You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. It recognises that you have completed the training and built a practical Lean manufacturing toolkit you can apply immediately in your workplace.

How is my learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead you apply the tools through practical activities such as a Gemba waste walk, value stream mapping, a 5S assessment, OEE calculation and kanban sizing, so you practise each technique on realistic scenarios.

Will the skills expire or need renewal?

No. The Lean manufacturing skills you learn do not expire and require no renewal. Once you can run a waste walk, map a value stream or set up a pull system, those capabilities stay with you and apply across production environments.

How does this differ from a Lean Six Sigma certification?

This course focuses on the practical Lean manufacturing toolkit, such as TPS, the eight wastes, VSM, 5S, kanban, TPM and SMED, delivered in one day with no exam. Lean Six Sigma programmes combine Lean with statistical DMAIC methods and typically lead to a separate belt credential.

What will I learn in the Lean Manufacturing course?

You learn to identify and eliminate the eight wastes, map value streams, apply 5S and visual management, design kanban pull systems, use Just-in-Time, apply TPM and OEE, write standard work, reduce changeover with SMED, and lead Kaizen continuous improvement.

Which Lean tools are covered in the training?

The programme covers the core Lean toolkit: the five Lean principles, DOWNTIME wastes, value stream mapping, 5S, Andon and visual management, kanban and supermarkets, JIT, TPM and OEE, standard work, SMED, Heijunka and Poka Yoke, all within a continuous improvement culture.

Are there hands-on exercises in the course?

Yes. Practical exercises run throughout, including a Gemba-based waste walk, value stream data collection, a 5S workplace assessment, an OEE calculation and kanban quantity sizing, so you apply each tool to realistic manufacturing scenarios.

How long is the Lean Manufacturing training?

The course is delivered in one day of about eight hours, and can also be run as two extended half-days totalling the same eight hours. It covers all six modules with concept explanation, case examples and hands-on Lean tool practice.

What materials are provided with the course?

You receive structured course materials, reference guides and reusable templates for tools such as value stream mapping, 5S audits and OEE, plus case examples. For corporate sessions, exercises can be built around your own plant's processes and data.
