The Change Skills You Will BuildFrom Foundation to Practitioner

This programme builds the full people-side toolkit across all five syllabus areas, from how individuals experience change to how you lead it across an organisation. By the end you can plan, communicate and embed change, and apply the models to real scenarios in both examinations.

    Guide Individuals Through Change

What you will learn in the Change Management course starts with people: use Bridges' Transition Model, ADKAR and motivation theory to understand how individuals respond to change, diagnose where change stalls and build resilience and new behaviours that last.

    Lead Organisational Change

Select and apply the right organisational change model, from Lewin's Three-Step Model and Kotter's 8-Step Model to McKinsey 7-S, and read organisational culture using Schein's levels to plan change that fits the context and readiness of the organisation.

    Engage Stakeholders and Communicate

Identify and analyse stakeholders with tools such as the power/interest grid, build a targeted engagement and communication plan, and use Cialdini's principles of influence to win support and manage resistance through dialogue rather than force.

Plan and Deliver Change in Practice

Run change impact assessments, build a complete change management plan covering communication, training, resistance and benefits, and apply the tools that embed change so it is sustained long after go-live.

Manage Yourself as a Change Professional

Develop the emotional intelligence, coaching, facilitation and ethical judgement that underpin effective change practice, and learn to sustain your own resilience and wellbeing while supporting others through demanding change.

Apply the Models and Pass Both Exams

Practise scenario-based analysis and open-book exam technique with the Change Management Practitioner Guide, and prepare with mock questions for the closed-book Foundation exam and the scenario-based Practitioner exam.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario questions require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential.

What happens if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You can re-sit the exam you did not pass. Re-sit fees and policies vary, and selected training plans include retake support. Our team will guide you on booking a re-sit and preparing for it.
