    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification covering the models, tools and practices used to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change concepts, and Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real scenarios, both grounded in the Change Management Institute's CMBoK.

Who should take this change management course in Kenya?

It suits change managers, project and programme managers, HR business partners, organisational development practitioners and leaders sponsoring change. In Kenya it is especially valuable for professionals in banking, telecoms, the public sector and NGOs driving digital and organisational transformation.

Is the change management certification recognised in Kenya?

Yes. This is an internationally respected qualification recognised in more than 150 countries and valued by employers across Kenya, including banks, telecoms, consulting firms and NGOs that run large change programmes.

Is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner qualification worth it?

Yes. As Kenyan organisations transform rapidly, employers increasingly seek certified change professionals, and these roles command strong salary bands in Nairobi. The credential proves you can make change stick, opening change manager, transformation and OD roles. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

Do I earn one or two credentials from this programme?

You earn two. Passing the Foundation exam gives you the Change Management Foundation designation, and passing the Practitioner exam gives you the Change Management Practitioner designation. Both must be passed to hold both credentials.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the exam. However, the scenario questions require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Both deep method knowledge and efficient guide navigation are essential, which our training builds.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

Resits are available if you do not pass on your first attempt. You can retake the relevant exam, and our trainers provide targeted revision support to help you succeed. Retake policies and any fees are available on request.
