It is a two-level EXIN BCS credential. The Foundation level validates knowledge of business analysis concepts and techniques, and the Practitioner level validates your ability to apply them in real project scenarios. Both are developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

    General

What is the Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level EXIN BCS credential. The Foundation level validates knowledge of business analysis concepts and techniques, and the Practitioner level validates your ability to apply them in real project scenarios. Both are developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

Is the EXIN BCS business analysis certification worth it in Cambodia?

Yes. As Cambodian banks, fintechs and MFIs modernise systems and launch digital services, employers increasingly want analysts who can shape requirements and processes. A BCS-backed credential opens roles from Business Analyst to Senior BA and BA Manager, which command strong salary bands in Phnom Penh.

Who should take this business analysis course?

It suits aspiring business analysts, project managers strengthening requirements skills, IT professionals moving into a BA role, and practising analysts who want a recognised qualification. No formal background is required to start at Foundation level.

    Are these certifications recognised internationally?

Yes. EXIN operates in over 165 countries and BCS is the UK's chartered professional body for IT. The combined credential is well recognised across the UK, Commonwealth, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, so it travels with you across employers and borders.

How long are the certifications valid?

Both the Foundation and Practitioner certifications are for life. Neither credential expires, and there is no renewal fee or continuing-education requirement to keep them.

    Pricing

How much does the business analysis training cost in Cambodia?

Training fees are available on request and depend on the format and schedule you choose. The fee typically covers aligned courseware, mock exams and learner support. Contact us for a quote for live virtual, classroom or corporate training.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee generally includes EXIN BCS aligned courseware for both levels, industry case studies, mock exams and practice questions, and dedicated learner support. Ask a learning advisor about exam-voucher inclusion for your enrolment.

Are the EXIN exam fees included in the training price?

EXIN exam fees vary by region and channel, and the combined programme is usually purchased as a training and dual-exam package through an accredited provider. Confirm the current exam-voucher inclusion with our team before you enrol.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for change teams, PMOs and IT functions. Request a tailored quote for your team.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions to complete in 60 minutes. It is closed book, and the passing score is 65%, which is 26 correct out of 40. It covers 14 topic areas from the EXIN BCS Foundation specification.

How is the Practitioner exam different?

The Practitioner exam also has 40 questions in 60 minutes with a 65% pass mark, but the questions are scenario based. Each presents a project situation and tests how you apply business analysis techniques across seven topic areas, rather than recall alone.

What is the passing score for both exams?

The passing score is 65% for each exam, which means answering 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Because both exams are 40 questions, focus on broad mastery across all topic areas.

Do I need to pass Foundation before Practitioner?

The EXIN BCS Foundation Certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner level. The combined 32-hour programme covers Foundation first, then Practitioner, so you build the knowledge before applying it in scenarios.

Where can I take the EXIN BCS exams?

You can sit both exams online through EXIN's proctored exam system or at an accredited testing location. They are usually arranged through the accredited training provider as part of the combined package.

    Course Content

What topics does the course cover?

Foundation covers 14 topics including investigation techniques, requirements engineering, business process modelling, stakeholder management and business cases. Practitioner covers seven applied topics, from strategic context and current-situation analysis to solutions and building the business case.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to anyone new to business analysis. The training builds concepts step by step before moving into applied Practitioner techniques, so beginners are well supported.

    How long is the training?

The combined Foundation and Practitioner programme is delivered as 32 hours of instructor-led training. The number of days depends on the schedule format, such as full-day intensive or extended half-day sessions.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive EXIN BCS aligned courseware for both levels, industry-driven case studies, practice questions and mock exams for the Foundation and Practitioner formats, giving you structured preparation for both examinations.

Is the courseware aligned to the current EXIN BCS specification?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so what you study matches what the exams assess.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the business analysis course in Cambodia?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you need help choosing.

    What training formats are available?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom sessions and customised corporate group training. This lets you learn in the format that best fits your schedule and how your team prefers to train.

    How soon can I start?

New batches run regularly across live virtual and corporate formats. Check upcoming schedules or speak with a learning advisor to find the next start date that suits you.

Do I need prior experience to enrol?

No prior experience or qualification is needed to enrol. The Foundation level is open to all, and the programme builds knowledge before applying it, so newcomers and experienced professionals both benefit.

Can I reschedule my batch, and what is the refund policy?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or move to another batch, and refunds follow our published cancellation policy. Contact our support team to arrange a change or check the terms for your enrolment.
