What Is PRINCE2 Agile and Who Is It For?Governance Meets Agile Delivery

The PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner course is a combined qualification that blends the PRINCE2 project governance framework with agile delivery approaches such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean Startup. PRINCE2 Agile certification training in South Korea prepares project professionals to keep governance and control at the top while their teams deliver iteratively, closing the gap between structured project management and adaptive delivery. Governed by AXELOS and delivered by PeopleCert, the credential is built on the current PRINCE2 Agile publication and syllabus. The programme runs both levels end to end: the closed-book Foundation exam tests your understanding of the hybrid method, while the open-book Practitioner exam tests your ability to tailor and apply it in real project scenarios. It suits project managers in hybrid environments, PRINCE2 holders adding agile skills, and Scrum practitioners who want project governance vocabulary. As Korean enterprises scale digital transformation across IT services, finance and the public sector, professionals who can lead agile delivery inside a governed framework are in demand. Start your PRINCE2 Agile journey with Invensis Learning.

How to Get PRINCE2 Agile F&P Certified in South KoreaStep-by-Step Certification Process

The PRINCE2 Agile certification path in South Korea is a streamlined 2-exam track. Complete the 4-day PeopleCert-accredited training, sit the Foundation exam (closed book), then the Practitioner exam (open book to the official manual). On passing, PeopleCert issues both credentials. From training to credential typically takes 1-2 weeks.

Select a learning format that aligns with your schedule and goals. The PRINCE2 Agile F&P bootcamp covers both Foundation and Practitioner content, including Agile delivery approaches, PRINCE2 governance principles, tailoring guidance, and scenario-based workshops.

Step 3: Create or Sign In to Your PeopleCert Account

Create or sign in at peoplecert.org. Your account stores your exam vouchers, schedule, results, and digital badges. Invensis Learning packages typically include both exam vouchers.

Step 4: Sit the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation Exam

Foundation: 50 multiple-choice questions, 50 minutes, 55% pass mark (28 of 50), closed book. Delivered online proctored or at a PeopleCert test centre.

Step 5: Sit the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner Exam

Practitioner: 50 objective-test questions, 150 minutes, 60% pass mark (30 of 50), open book to the official PRINCE2 Agile guide. Scenario-based and tests applied knowledge.

The credential is globally recognised and helps you qualify for agile project manager, Scrum Master and delivery roles.

    General

Is the PRINCE2 Agile certification worth it in South Korea?

Yes. As Korean enterprises scale digital transformation and adopt agile inside governed programmes, professionals who can bridge PRINCE2 governance with agile delivery are in demand across IT services, finance and the public sector. The credential is globally recognised and helps you qualify for agile project manager, Scrum Master and delivery roles.

    What is PRINCE2 Agile?

PRINCE2 Agile is a qualification that combines the PRINCE2 project management governance framework with agile delivery approaches such as Scrum and Kanban. It is designed for people working in environments that use both structured governance and agile methods, and it is governed by AXELOS and delivered by PeopleCert.

Who should take this combined course?

It suits project managers in hybrid environments, PRINCE2 holders adding agile skills, and Scrum practitioners who want project governance vocabulary. The Foundation level has no prerequisites, so it is open to anyone new to the hybrid method.

How is PRINCE2 Agile different from standard PRINCE2?

Standard PRINCE2 is a structured, predictive project management method. PRINCE2 Agile extends it with agile delivery guidance, so the PRINCE2 layer governs the project while teams deliver using Scrum, Kanban or other agile approaches. It adds the five targets, the PRINCE2 Agile hexagon and MoSCoW prioritisation.

How long is the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certification valid?

PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner is valid for three years. You can renew it by retaking the exam, completing continuing professional development through a MyAxelos subscription, or passing a higher-level qualification. Verify current renewal options at peoplecert.org.

    Pricing

What is included in the PRINCE2 Agile course fee?

The training fee typically includes accredited courseware, practice questions, mock exams, open-book exam technique, learner support and a course completion record. Dual exam vouchers are often bundled in accredited packages. Contact us for exactly what your package includes.

How much does PRINCE2 Agile training cost in South Korea?

Pricing depends on your chosen format, live virtual, classroom or corporate, and whether exam vouchers are included. Local training is quoted for the Korean market, while PeopleCert exam fees are billed separately and vary by region. Request a quote for current pricing.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

Exam fees are billed by PeopleCert and vary by region and channel. Many accredited packages bundle the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers with training; others price them separately. Ask a learning advisor to confirm what is included in your enrolment.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, delivery squads and leadership teams across South Korea. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions to complete in 60 minutes. It is closed book, single-answer format, with a passing score of 60 percent, which is 24 out of 40 correct. It is delivered online proctored or at a test centre.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 50 scenario-based questions to complete in 150 minutes. It is open book, with the PRINCE2 Agile publication permitted, and the passing score is 60 percent, which is 30 out of 50 correct.

What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, or PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent. The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites. Verify current accepted equivalents at peoplecert.org.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can resit the exam under PeopleCert's re-sit policy, and our training includes exam-prep support, mock exams and open-book technique to help you pass. Selected plans offer retake support, so ask a learning advisor about the options for your enrolment.

How and where do I sit the exams?

Both exams are delivered through PeopleCert, either online proctored 24/7 via the OnVUE system or at authorised test centres. You can sit them from home or office in South Korea, or at a nearby centre.

    Course Content

What topics does the PRINCE2 Agile training cover?

The programme covers both syllabuses: the agile mindset, blending agile with PRINCE2, stakeholder engagement, agile leadership, risk and change, progress tracking, roles, scalable agility and value-driven thinking at Foundation, plus tailoring, guiding delivery and governing with flexibility at Practitioner.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. PRINCE2 Agile Foundation has no prerequisites, so beginners can start there. Prior familiarity with Scrum or Kanban helps but is not required, and the training builds the knowledge you need step by step before the Practitioner content.

    Which agile frameworks are covered?

The course covers Scrum as the primary framework, along with Kanban, Lean Startup and Scrumban, plus awareness of scaling approaches. You learn how each fits within PRINCE2 governance rather than in isolation.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full mock exams and open-book practice for the Practitioner format, helping you identify weak areas and build readiness for both exams.

Is the courseware aligned to the current syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PRINCE2 Agile publication and the PeopleCert Foundation and Practitioner syllabuses, so you prepare against the latest exam content.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the PRINCE2 Agile course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you would like guidance on the right option.

What training formats are available in South Korea?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom sessions and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and learning style.

    How soon can I start?

New cohorts open regularly across live virtual and classroom formats. See upcoming schedules on the website, or ask a learning advisor about the next available batch that suits your timezone in South Korea.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans let you attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?
