Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a combined, dual-credential programme awarded by EXIN in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation certificate validates core business analysis knowledge, and the Practitioner certificate validates applied skill through scenario-based questions. Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

    General

What is the Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a combined, dual-credential programme awarded by EXIN in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation certificate validates core business analysis knowledge, and the Practitioner certificate validates applied skill through scenario-based questions. Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

Who should take this business analysis course in Kuwait?

It suits aspiring analysts, IT professionals such as developers and testers moving into analysis, and practising business analysts formalising their skills. In Kuwait it is especially valuable for teams in banking, telecom, government and energy delivering Vision 2035 change programmes.

Is the EXIN BCS Business Analysis certification recognised in Kuwait?

Yes. EXIN operates in over 165 countries and BCS is the UK's chartered body for IT, so the credential is well recognised across Kuwait, the wider Gulf, Europe and Asia. Employers value it as proof of structured, method-based analysis capability.

Is this business analysis certification worth it in Kuwait?

Yes. Demand for certified analysts is rising as Kuwaiti banks, telecoms and public bodies modernise under Vision 2035. The credential opens roles from business analyst to product owner and lead analyst, and it distinguishes you in a market with few formally certified analysts.

How long are the certifications valid?

Both the Foundation and Practitioner certifications are awarded for life. Neither expires, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement once you have passed each exam.

    Pricing

How much does business analysis training cost in Kuwait?

Training fees vary by format, whether live virtual, classroom or corporate group. Pricing is available on request, and the EXIN BCS exam fees are billed separately. Request a quote and a learning advisor will share the current options for Kuwait.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes BCS-aligned courseware, industry case studies, mock exams and practice questions, first-attempt exam guidance and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion varies by package, so confirm what is bundled when you enquire.

Are the EXIN BCS exam fees included in the training price?

Exam vouchers are often bundled into the combined package, but this varies by provider and region. EXIN exam pricing itself varies by market and purchasing channel. Ask a learning advisor to confirm the exam inclusion for your enrolment.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for IT, PMO and change teams in Kuwait. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment methods are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Foundation and Practitioner exams?

Both exams have 40 questions in 60 minutes and are closed book. The Foundation exam uses straightforward single-answer multiple-choice questions, while the Practitioner exam uses scenario-based multiple-choice questions that test applied judgement.

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate exams: the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. You must sit and pass both to hold both EXIN BCS credentials. The 32-hour programme prepares you for each.

What is the passing score for each exam?

The passing score is 65% for both exams, which is 26 correct answers out of 40. Focus on broad mastery across the Foundation topic areas and the applied Practitioner techniques.

What are the prerequisites for each level?

The Foundation certificate has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Foundation certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner level, so the combined programme takes you through both in sequence.

Where can I take the EXIN BCS exams?

You can sit both exams online through EXIN's online proctored system or at an EXIN accredited testing location. They are typically arranged through the accredited training provider as part of the combined package.

    Course Content

What topics does the Foundation level cover?

The Foundation level covers 14 topic areas, including what business analysis is, strategy analysis, investigation techniques, stakeholder analysis, business process modelling, requirements engineering, the business case and delivering the business solution.

What does the Practitioner level cover?

The Practitioner level applies seven topic areas through scenario-based questions, from the rationale for business analysis and strategic context to investigating the current situation, stakeholder management, modelling activities, identifying solutions and building the business case.

Do I need prior experience to start?

No. The Foundation level assumes no prior business analysis knowledge, so beginners and career changers are welcome. The programme then builds you up to applied Practitioner level with guided practice and case studies.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive BCS-aligned courseware, industry-driven case studies, mock exams and practice questions for both levels, plus trainer-led exercises. These reinforce elicitation, modelling, stakeholder and business-case techniques.

Is the courseware aligned to the current specification?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so you study exactly what the exams assess.

How do I enrol in the business analysis course in Kuwait?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you need help choosing.
