Do I receive a certificate after the training?

You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. This is a non-certification skills course, so there is no external credential or examination; the focus is practical QbD capability you can apply straight away.

Assessment

Is there an exam for QbD training?

No. Quality by Design training is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on QbD tool exercises, pharmaceutical case studies and group discussion during the programme.

How is learning reinforced during the training?

There is no formal assessment. You apply QbD tools to realistic development scenarios throughout the day, constructing a QTPP, identifying CQAs, running a risk assessment and interpreting a design space, so you practise every tool as you learn it.

What will I be able to do after the training?

You will be able to construct a QTPP, identify and classify CQAs, run risk assessments with Ishikawa diagrams and FMEA, plan and interpret DoE studies, define a design space with operating ranges, and build a Control Strategy for regulatory submission.

Do I need prior QbD knowledge to attend?

No. There are no formal prerequisites. Familiarity with pharmaceutical development or GMP is helpful but not required, as the training introduces QbD from first principles in a pharmaceutical development context.

Will the training help with regulatory submissions?

Yes. You learn how QbD outputs, the QTPP, CQAs, risk assessment, design space and Control Strategy, form Section 3.2.P.2 of a CTD submission, so you can structure development evidence for regulators such as the FDA and EMA.

What topics does the QbD training cover?

The programme covers QbD principles and the ICH regulatory framework, the QTPP and CQAs, risk assessment, Design of Experiments and design space definition, Process Analytical Technology and Control Strategy, and QbD in practice through case studies and lifecycle management.

Does the training cover both small molecules and biologics?

Yes. The training covers QbD principles for small molecule drug products such as tablets and injectables, and for biopharmaceuticals such as monoclonal antibodies and biosimilars, with case study examples from both.

Is Design of Experiments (DoE) covered?

Yes. The training explains how to design, run and interpret DoE studies within QbD, including screening and response surface designs, and how DoE results define the design space and operating ranges.

Does it cover Process Analytical Technology (PAT)?

Yes. You learn how PAT tools such as NIR and Raman spectroscopy enable real-time monitoring, how real-time release testing works, and how PAT fits into a risk-based Control Strategy.

What learning materials are provided?

You receive structured courseware covering all QbD modules, hands-on tool exercises, realistic pharmaceutical development case studies and reference materials aligned to the ICH Q8 to Q11 guidelines.
