Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a combined EXIN BCS qualification made up of two credentials: the Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis, which validates core knowledge, and the Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis Practice, which validates applied technique. Both are developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

    General

What is the Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a combined EXIN BCS qualification made up of two credentials: the Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis, which validates core knowledge, and the Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis Practice, which validates applied technique. Both are developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

Who should take this course in Slovenia?

It suits aspiring analysts, project managers, IT and testing professionals moving into analysis, and practising business analysts who want recognised, BCS-backed validation. It is popular across Slovenia's banking, IT, telecom and pharmaceutical employers.

Is the EXIN BCS Business Analysis certification recognised in Slovenia?

Yes. EXIN operates in over 165 countries and BCS is the UK's chartered body for IT, so the credentials carry strong recognition across Slovenia, Europe and the wider international market. Employers value the BCS quality assurance behind both levels.

Is this certification worth it for my career?

Yes. Business analysts in Slovenia earn around 26,100 euro on average, with senior and IT analysts reaching 50,000 euro and beyond, and 76% of financial-sector employers report difficulty filling roles. A recognised dual credential helps you stand out and progress into better-paid analysis roles.

How long are the certifications valid?

Both the Foundation and Practitioner certifications are for lifetime. Neither credential expires, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement.

    Pricing

How much does the training cost in Slovenia?

Pricing depends on the delivery format and schedule, and is quoted in euro for learners in Slovenia. For current fees and any available offers, request a quote and a learning advisor will share options that suit you.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes BCS-aligned courseware, instructor-led sessions, case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both levels, and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion varies by package, so confirm this when you enrol.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

Many combined packages include both EXIN exam vouchers, but this varies by provider and region. EXIN exam pricing itself varies by channel. Ask your advisor whether the Foundation and Practitioner vouchers are bundled into your chosen package.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for IT, change and transformation teams. Contact us for a tailored quote for your organisation in Slovenia.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that fits you best.

    Exam

What is the format of the two exams?

Each exam has 40 questions, lasts 60 minutes and is closed book, with a passing score of 65% (26 out of 40). The Foundation exam uses single-answer multiple choice; the Practitioner exam uses scenario-based multiple choice.

What is the difference between the Foundation and Practitioner exams?

The Foundation exam tests knowledge and comprehension of business analysis concepts across 14 topic areas. The Practitioner exam tests application and analysis across seven topic areas using realistic project scenarios. Both are 40 questions in 60 minutes.

    What is the passing score?

The passing score is 65% for both exams, meaning 26 correct answers out of 40. The programme includes mock exams and practice questions to help you reach that mark on both levels.

Do I need to pass Foundation before Practitioner?

The Foundation Certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner level. The combined course covers Foundation first, then Practitioner, so you build knowledge before applying it in scenario-based practice. There are no formal prerequisites for Foundation.

What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You can resit an EXIN exam; verify the current resit policy and any fee with EXIN. Our training includes mock exams and first-attempt guidance to prepare you thoroughly for both the Foundation and Practitioner papers.

    Course Content

What topics does the course cover?

It covers business analysis concepts and competencies, strategy analysis, investigation techniques, stakeholder analysis, business process and requirements modelling, requirements engineering, solution definition and business case development, all aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

Do I need prior experience or can a beginner take it?

Beginners are welcome. The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and starts from core concepts, so newcomers and those in adjacent roles can follow it. The Practitioner level then builds applied technique on that base.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive BCS-aligned courseware, industry-driven case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both levels, plus templates and reference materials to support your revision and on-the-job application.

    Are mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner practice questions and mock exams so you can rehearse both the single-answer and scenario-based formats and identify weak areas before exam day.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest specification?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so you study the content the exams actually test.

How do I enrol in Slovenia?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you would like guidance on the right batch.
