There is no formal assessment. Instead, you build proficiency through guided, hands-on P6 exercises where you create schedules, assign resources, set baselines and update progress, so you leave able to do the work, not just describe it.

Will I be able to use P6 at work after the course?

Yes. The course is built around practical exercises, so you finish able to build, baseline, update and control schedules in P6. Advanced learners can also cost-load, run earned value and manage multi-project programmes on real work.

Course Content

What does the Fundamentals level cover?

Fundamentals covers the P6 interface and enterprise project structure, WBS and activity creation, relationships and calendars, running the scheduler and reading the critical path and float, resource assignment, baselines, progress updating and basic reports.

What does the Advanced level cover?

Advanced covers advanced scheduling options, resource and cost loading with cost accounts, earned value management, multiple baselines and Claim Digger, variance analysis, multi-project and enterprise portfolio management, and custom reporting with Excel integration.

Which version of Oracle Primavera P6 is used?

The course uses a current release of Oracle Primavera P6, covering both the P6 Professional desktop client and P6 EPPM enterprise features. Confirm the exact software version and any training environment details with Invensis Learning when you enrol.

Does the course include hands-on exercises?

Yes. Both levels are delivered with live, hands-on Primavera P6 exercises throughout. You follow the trainer in P6 and practise each feature and workflow on realistic construction, engineering and capital-project scenarios.

Yes, at the Advanced level. You learn to cost-load the schedule, build the S-curve, and calculate and report BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, SPI, CPI and EAC, plus variance and Claim Digger analysis for contract reporting and delay claims.
