    The PMP certification path in Trinidad and Tobago is designed for experienced project managers. You complete the required 35 contact hours, document your project leadership experience, apply to PMI, prepare with mocks and assessments, and schedule your exam through Pearson VUE.     Step 1: Eligibility Check

    Confirm you meet one of PMI's two pathways: a four-year degree with 36 months of project leadership experience, or a secondary degree with 60 months of experience. Both pathways require 35 hours of project management education.

    Step 3: Attend Classes

    Step 4: Document Experience and Apply to PMI

    How long is the PMP valid and how do I renew it?

    The PMP is valid for three years. To renew, you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) within each three-year cycle through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements programme, with at least 8 PDUs in each Talent Triangle area: Ways of Working, Power Skills and Business Acumen.

    How does the PMP differ from PMI-ACP?

    Is the PMI exam fee included in the course price?

    No. PMI bills the PMP exam fee separately in USD through its own portal, and members pay less than non-members. PMI membership also gives you free access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the Agile Practice Guide. Check pmi.org for current rates before you apply.

    Does the PMP exam cover agile?

    Yes, substantially. Roughly half the exam reflects agile or hybrid approaches, and the updated ECO gives agile its own domain, Agile Frameworks and Methodologies, worth 27% of the paper. Expect questions on Scrum, Kanban, Lean and hybrid delivery.

    Yes. PMI counts experience leading projects, not job titles, so functional leads and team leads who direct scope, schedule and resources often qualify. Anyone can attend the training, and our trainers help you map your real experience against PMI's requirements before you apply.

    What topics does the PMP training cover?

    The training covers the five domains PMI tests: project management fundamentals and core concepts, predictive plan-based methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic management, and stakeholder engagement and communication, plus exam strategy and application support.

    Is the courseware aligned to the current standard?

    Yes. The courseware follows PMI's current PMP Examination Content Outline, which is aligned to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition, and it also draws on the Agile Practice Guide for the iterative and hybrid content.

    Are mock exams and practice questions included?

    Yes. You get practice questions and full-length mock exams built on the live format of 180 questions in 230 minutes, with the same mix of multiple choice, matching, hotspot and fill-in-the-blank items, so exam day holds no surprises.

    How many training hours does the programme provide?

    The programme delivers 35 contact hours of project management education, which satisfies PMI's education requirement for the PMP application. It can be scheduled as full days, half days or a blended format to suit working professionals and shift-based teams.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PMP?

    There are two routes. With a four-year degree you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary school diploma you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours, which this training provides.

    What training formats are available in Trinidad and Tobago?

    You can join online instructor-led training in a live virtual classroom, attend classroom sessions, or book onsite delivery for a team. Blended options combine the two. All formats are led by accredited trainers and cover the same PMI-aligned curriculum.

    How does the PMI application process work?

    You create a PMI account, document your project leadership experience and your 35 contact hours, and submit the application at pmi.org. PMI reviews it, and a share of applications are randomly audited, in which case you send supporting documents within 90 days. We guide you through each step.

    Can I reschedule my batch, and what is the refund policy?
