What Is the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner Certification?A Complete Route into Structured Project Delivery

The PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner Certification Course (PRINCE2-F&P) is a globally recognised project management qualification that takes you from understanding the method to applying and tailoring it on real projects, all in one combined pathway. This instructor-led PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certification training in Tanzania is built on PRINCE2 7, the current 7th Edition (2023) published by PeopleCert with AXELOS. PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured, scalable method covering seven principles, the People capability, seven practices and seven processes. The Foundation level proves you understand the method, while the Practitioner level proves you can adapt it to a live project scenario. Together they give you a complete, employer-valued credential. The programme suits project team members, aspiring and practising project managers, and PMP or CAPM holders working across Tanzania's construction, energy, banking, telecoms and donor-funded sectors. As flagship national programmes scale, employers increasingly reward managers who can deliver to a recognised standard. Start your PRINCE2 journey with Invensis Learning.

Invensis Learning is a Peoplecert Accredited Training Organization (2778) in Tanzania, approved to deliver official PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner Certification training using accredited courseware and standards.

What is the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certification?

PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner is a combined project management qualification from PeopleCert and AXELOS, based on PRINCE2 7 (the 7th Edition, 2023). Foundation proves you understand the method, and Practitioner proves you can apply and tailor it to real projects.

The course suits project team members, aspiring and practising project managers, and PMP or CAPM holders who want a recognised method credential. It is ideal for professionals in construction, energy, banking, telecoms and donor-funded programmes across Tanzania.

    Is PRINCE2 recognised in Tanzania?

Yes. PRINCE2 is recognised globally and valued by employers in Tanzania that run large, governance-critical projects, including construction, energy, financial services and the public sector. PeopleCert operates in over 200 countries, and more than one million PRINCE2 certificates have been issued worldwide.

Is the PRINCE2 combo worth it for my career?

Yes. Holding both credentials positions you for roles from project coordinator to programme manager and head of PMO, where Tanzanian salaries rise well above entry level. As national programmes scale, method-certified managers are increasingly in demand. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

What is new in PRINCE2 7?

PRINCE2 7 (2023) introduces the People capability as a core element covering leadership and stakeholder engagement, renames Themes to Practices, and integrates agile, sustainability and commercial management. It replaces PRINCE2 6th Edition as the current standard.

How long are the PRINCE2 certifications valid?

Both PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner are valid for three years. Foundation is renewed by earning 60 CPD points per cycle, and Practitioner is renewed by re-sitting the exam, completing CPD via a MyAxelos subscription, or passing a higher PRINCE2 qualification.

    Pricing
