It is designed for IT governance managers, risk and compliance leads, consultants and CIOs.

Why choose Invensis Learning for COBIT 5 Implementation training in Zimbabwe?

Invensis Learning offers PeopleCert-aligned courseware, experienced trainers, flexible delivery formats, mock exams and exam preparation support. This helps you move from learning to certification with a clear, practical path suited to Zimbabwe's governance and compliance needs.

Is COBIT 5 Implementation recognised in Zimbabwe?

Yes. COBIT is the globally recognised standard for IT governance, and the Implementation credential is valued by employers across Zimbabwe and worldwide, including banks, telecoms, mining, consulting and public sector organisations that run large IT governance programmes.

What are the prerequisites for COBIT 5 Implementation?

COBIT 5 Foundation certification is required. Candidates who do not hold Foundation must take and pass it before sitting the Implementation exam, as the Implementation syllabus assumes Foundation knowledge of the framework's principles, enablers and process model.

Is COBIT 5 Implementation worth it for my career?

Yes. In Zimbabwe, governance roles such as IT governance manager, consultant and IT director command strong USD salary bands, and certified implementers are scarce. The credential proves you can lead governance improvement, not just describe it. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

    Pricing

How much does COBIT 5 Implementation training cost in Zimbabwe?

Training fees vary by format and are available on request. The PeopleCert exam fee is billed separately and is not part of the training price. Request a quote and we will share the current options for individual and group enrolment.

What is included in the course fee?

Is the PeopleCert exam fee included in the training price?

Not always. PeopleCert bills the COBIT 5 Implementation exam fee separately, and it can be bundled with training in some packages. Confirm whether your chosen plan includes the exam voucher before you enrol, or ask us for a bundled quote.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for GRC, PMO and IT leadership teams. Contact us for a tailored quote for your organisation in Zimbabwe.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you best.

    Exam

What is the format of the COBIT 5 Implementation exam?

It is an open-book, objective-testing examination. The only permitted materials are the COBIT 5 Implementation book and the COBIT 5 Enabling Processes Guide. It is delivered online proctored through PeopleCert OnVUE or at an authorised test centre.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The exam has four questions, each worth 20 marks, for a total of 80 marks. You have two and a half hours (150 minutes) to complete it. The questions are scenario-based and require applied judgment, not just recall.

What is the passing score for the exam?

The pass mark is 50%. You must achieve 40 marks or more out of the 80 available to pass the COBIT 5 Implementation exam.

What if I do not pass the exam on the first attempt?

You can resit the exam under PeopleCert's re-sit policy. Our mock exams, practice questions and open-book technique sessions are designed to help you prepare thoroughly and aim for a first-attempt pass. Confirm current re-sit terms with PeopleCert.

Which edition or syllabus is the exam based on?

The exam is based on the COBIT 5 framework and the COBIT 5 Implementation Exam Syllabus (2022 version). It covers the need for a governance framework, the seven-phase lifecycle, change enablement, programme management and continuous improvement.

    Course Content

What topics does the COBIT 5 Implementation course cover?

The course covers four topic areas: the need for a governance framework and the seven-phase implementation lifecycle, change enablement, programme management, and continuous improvement, all aligned to the 2022 syllabus and taught at application level.

What are the seven phases of the implementation lifecycle?

The phases are: What are the drivers? Where are we now? Where do we want to be? What needs to be done? How do we get there? Did we get there? How do we keep the momentum going? Together they form a continuous improvement cycle, not a one-off project.

Do I need prior experience, or is Foundation enough to start?

You need COBIT 5 Foundation before taking this course, as it assumes that knowledge. Beyond that, no formal work experience is required, though the level suits practitioners who lead or support governance improvement. The training builds your practical capability step by step.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive syllabus-aligned courseware, industry-driven case studies illustrating the lifecycle and change enablement, practice questions, mock exams and guidance on navigating the open-book reference materials efficiently.

Is the courseware aligned to the current syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the COBIT 5 Implementation Exam Syllabus (2022 version) and the COBIT 5 Implementation Guide, so what you study maps directly to what the exam assesses.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the COBIT 5 Implementation course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you need help choosing a batch.

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
