    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. It is closed book with a single-answer format, and the pass mark is 60% (36 out of 60 correct). There are no formal prerequisites to sit Foundation.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, completed in 150 minutes. It is open book, so the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual is permitted, and the pass mark is 60% (42 out of 70 marks). It is scenario based.

    What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

    You need PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. In the combined course you sit Foundation first, then progress to Practitioner, so both credentials are earned in one guided route.

    How and where do I take the PRINCE2 exams?

    Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert, either online via the OnVUE proctored system available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre. They are usually arranged through your accredited training provider as part of the combined package.

    What happens if I do not pass an exam the first time?
