How to Get PRINCE2 Certified in BrusselsStep-by-Step Certification Process

The PRINCE2 certification path in Brussels is straightforward. You complete the accredited 35 contact hours, sit the Foundation exam, then progress to Practitioner. Both exams are administered by PeopleCert online or at approved test centers. Once you pass, you join the global community of 1,000,000+ PRINCE2-certified practitioners.

    Step 1: Eligibility Check

Confirm your readiness: Foundation has no prerequisites, while Practitioner requires a recognized prior credential such as PRINCE2 Foundation, PMQ, PPQ, PMP, CAPM, or IPMA Levels A, B, C, D.

    Step 2: Enroll

Choose your preferred learning mode (E-Learning, Instructor-Led Bootcamp, or Corporate Group Training) and batch. Once enrolled, you get access to AXELOS-accredited courseware, schedules, and your study plan.

    Step 3: Attend Classes

Complete instructor-led sessions or self-paced learning, participate in case discussions, and cover the PRINCE2 7th Edition syllabus across principles, practices, processes, people, and project context.

Step 4: Sit the Foundation Exam

Book your Foundation exam via the PeopleCert candidate portal. The exam is 60 multiple-choice questions over 60 minutes, closed book. Passing score: 60%. Our team supports you with exam booking and proctoring setup.

    Step 5: Preparation for Practitioner

Strengthen your readiness using practice questions, mock examinations, scenario-based exercises, and revision resources. This stage functions as a focused PRINCE2 exam prep training phase designed to build confidence for the Practitioner assessment.

Step 6: Sit the Practitioner Exam

Sit the 70-question, 150-minute Practitioner exam (open book, official PRINCE2 manual only). Passing score: 60%. The scenario-based questions test your ability to apply PRINCE2 in context.

Step 7: Pass and Get Certified

    General

Is the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certification worth it in Brussels?

Yes. PRINCE2 is one of the most recognised project management methods in Brussels, valued across the EU institutions, banking, IT consulting and public sector. Holding both Foundation and Practitioner proves you can apply and tailor a structured method, which supports roles from project coordinator to programme manager.

What is PRINCE2 and which edition does this course cover?

PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured project management method covering seven principles, the People capability, seven practices and seven processes. This course covers the current PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023), created by AXELOS and examined by PeopleCert.

Who should take the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner course?

It suits aspiring and practising project managers, PMO staff, and team members working in PRINCE2 environments. Foundation has no prerequisites, so beginners can start, while Practitioner adds the applied, tailoring-focused skills that experienced professionals need.

How is PRINCE2 different from PMP?

PRINCE2 is a structured, method-based approach that is especially strong across the UK, Europe and Commonwealth markets, including Brussels. PMP is a broader project management credential dominant in North America. Both are widely respected, and many professionals hold both.

How long are the PRINCE2 certifications valid?

Both PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner are valid for three years. Foundation is renewed by earning 60 CPD points per cycle, and Practitioner can be renewed by re-sitting the exam, completing CPD via a MyAxelos subscription, or passing a higher PRINCE2 qualification.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 training cost in Brussels?

Pricing depends on the format you choose, such as live online, classroom or corporate group training, and typically includes courseware and exam preparation. Exam fees are billed separately by PeopleCert. Contact us for current Brussels pricing, or request a quote.

What is included in the PRINCE2 course fee?

The training fee usually includes PRINCE2 7 aligned courseware, instructor-led sessions, practice questions, mock exams and learner support. Confirm whether the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers are bundled when you enrol, as packages vary. Ask a learning advisor for details.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

Exam fees are set and billed by PeopleCert and may be bundled into a combined training and dual exam package or paid separately. We can confirm exactly what your chosen Brussels package includes before you enrol.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing for teams?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, delivery teams and departments across Brussels. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to complete in 60 minutes. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 60%, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests your knowledge and comprehension of PRINCE2 7.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, with 150 minutes allowed. It is open book, so the PRINCE2 manual is permitted, and it is scenario based. The pass mark is 60%, which is 42 out of 70 marks.

What are the prerequisites for each exam?

PRINCE2 Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. The Practitioner exam requires PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. Verify current accepted equivalents with PeopleCert.

Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams in Brussels?

You can sit both exams online through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctoring, available around the clock, or at an authorised test centre. The exams are usually arranged through your accredited training package.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can re-sit a PRINCE2 exam; re-sit fees and policies are set by PeopleCert, so confirm the current terms before booking. Our preparation, mock exams and trainer guidance are designed to help you pass with confidence. Talk to an advisor about retake support.

    Course Content

What topics does the PRINCE2 course cover?

The course covers the seven principles, the People capability, the seven practices (Business Case, Organizing, Plans, Quality, Risk, Issues and Progress) and the seven processes, plus tailoring and product-based planning, all aligned to PRINCE2 7.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. Foundation requires no prior experience, so beginners can start comfortably. The course builds from Foundation concepts to Practitioner-level application, with trainer support and practice throughout, so you are ready for both exams.

    What learning resources are provided?

You receive PRINCE2 7 aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, quizzes and exam-technique guidance for both the closed-book Foundation and open-book Practitioner exams.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest PRINCE2 syllabus?
