    Exam

    What is the format of the two PRINCE2 Agile exams?

    The Foundation exam is closed book with 40 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes. The Practitioner exam is open book with 50 scenario-based questions in 150 minutes. Both are set by PeopleCert and can be taken online proctored or at a test centre.

    What is the passing score for each exam?

    Both exams require 60% to pass. That is 24 out of 40 correct for the Foundation exam and 30 out of 50 correct for the Practitioner exam. You must pass both to hold both credentials.

    What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

    PRINCE2 Agile Foundation has no prerequisites. To sit PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner you need PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, or PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent. The combined course prepares you for both levels in sequence.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    The PRINCE2 Agile publication is permitted during the Practitioner exam. Questions still require scenario-based analysis, so you cannot simply look up answers. Our training builds efficient navigation of the publication alongside deep method knowledge.

    What happens if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can resit either exam through PeopleCert, and our training includes practice questions and mock exams to prepare you thoroughly. Selected plans include retake support, so ask a learning advisor which option covers resits.

    Yes. PRINCE2 Agile Foundation has no formal prerequisites, so beginners can start with it. Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban helps but is not required, and the training builds understanding step by step before moving into Practitioner-level application.
