Skills You Will Gain from CSPO Certification Training in WinnipegCapabilities You Apply from Day One

This CSPO course helps you build product vision, backlog management and stakeholder skills you can apply from day one. By the end, you can own a Product Backlog, order it by value and lead a Scrum team toward a clear Product Goal.

    Defining Product Vision and Goal

Skills covered in CSPO start with crafting a compelling product vision and setting a clear Product Goal, the long-term objective that gives your Scrum team direction and aligns every Sprint to real value.

    Product Backlog Management

Create, refine and order a healthy Product Backlog using user stories, INVEST criteria and clear acceptance criteria, so the most valuable work is always ready for the team to pull into a Sprint.

    Value-Based Prioritisation

Order work by value, risk and cost of delay using techniques such as MoSCoW and the Kano model, and learn to say no to low-value requests while protecting the team from scope creep.

    Stakeholder Collaboration

Identify customers and stakeholders, run effective Sprint Reviews and turn feedback into backlog updates, balancing competing priorities with evidence rather than the loudest voice in the room.

    Release Planning and Forecasting

Plan releases, use velocity to forecast delivery, and apply MVP and minimal marketable feature thinking to release value early and reduce risk in an empirical, iterative environment.

    The Product Owner Accountability

Understand the Product Owner role within the Scrum framework, how it differs from project and product management, and how empiricism and the Scrum values guide your day-to-day decisions.
