    Exam

    How many exams are in the combined PRINCE2 programme?

    There are two separate PeopleCert exams. The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, closed book, with a 60% pass mark. The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks in 150 minutes, open book, also with a 60% pass mark.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam is closed book, with 60 single-answer multiple-choice questions to complete in 60 minutes. You need 36 correct, or 60%, to pass. It tests your knowledge and comprehension of PRINCE2 7.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    The PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual is allowed during the Practitioner exam. You can refer to it, but time management matters because the scenario questions require analysis and judgement, not just look-up.

    What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

    Foundation has no prerequisites. To sit Practitioner you need PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. Verify current accepted equivalents at peoplecert.org.

    Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

    You can take both exams online through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctoring, available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre. Exams are usually arranged as part of the combined training and dual exam package.

    What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can resit either exam. Retake policies and fees are set by PeopleCert, and our trainers provide preparation and guidance to help you pass. Verify the current resit policy at peoplecert.org.

    Course Content

    What topics does the PRINCE2 course cover?

    The course covers the PRINCE2 7 syllabus: the seven principles, the People capability, the seven practices (business case, organising, plans, quality, risk, issues and progress) and the seven processes, plus tailoring and dual exam preparation.

    Can a beginner take this PRINCE2 course?

    Yes. Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all, so those new to project management can start here. The trainer builds knowledge step by step before moving into the applied Practitioner content.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes mock exams, scenario practice, chapter quizzes and practice questions mapped to both the Foundation and Practitioner exam formats to build your readiness.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest PRINCE2 edition?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to PRINCE2 7 (2023), the current edition published by PeopleCert under AXELOS, and to the official Foundation and Practitioner syllabuses.

    What materials will I receive?

    What training formats are available?

    We offer live virtual (online) instructor-led training, classroom training, self-paced e-learning and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule in Accra.

    Do I need experience to enrol?

    No experience is required to enrol or to sit the Foundation exam. For Practitioner you need Foundation or an accepted equivalent. The training itself prepares you for both levels.
