    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 60 minutes. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 60%, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests your knowledge and understanding of the PRINCE2 7 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, with 150 minutes allowed. It is open book, with the PRINCE2 manual permitted, and the pass mark is 60%, which is 42 out of 70 marks. It tests applying and tailoring PRINCE2 to scenarios.

    How many exams are in the combined programme?

    There are two separate PeopleCert exams: the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials. Foundation is usually taken first, then Practitioner within the same combined programme.

    Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

    You can take both exams online through PeopleCert's OnVUE online proctoring, available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre. Exams are typically arranged through your accredited training provider as part of the programme.
