What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

Is the PMP worth it for professionals in Jordan?

Yes. PMP holders report around 33% higher median pay than non-certified peers, and the credential is asked for across IT, telecom, banking, construction and pharmaceuticals. As the Economic Modernisation Vision drives new investment, certified project leaders are in growing demand.

Is the PMP recognised by employers in Jordan?

Yes. The PMP is recognised in over 200 countries and is widely regarded as the global standard for project management. Employers across Jordan and the Gulf reference it in job specifications, procurement requirements and client contracts.

What are the prerequisites for the PMP?

There are two paths. With a four-year degree you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary diploma you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours, which our training provides.

How long is the PMP valid and how is it renewed?

The PMP is valid for three years. To renew, you earn 60 PDUs across the PMI Talent Triangle, with at least 8 PDUs in each area, and report them through PMI's continuing certification requirements system.

How much does PMP training cost in Jordan?

Training fees depend on the format you choose, such as live virtual, classroom or corporate group training. The PMI exam fee is billed separately in USD and is not part of the training price. Contact a learning advisor for current pricing and a quote.

What is included in the PMP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 35 contact hours, practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access, downloadable templates, application guidance and learner support, plus a course completion certificate.

Is the PMP exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing, at roughly USD 405 for members and USD 555 for non-members. PMI membership can reduce the exam cost, so verify current fees at pmi.org before you apply.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts in Jordan?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with tailored schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, delivery teams and departments. Ask about corporate or group pricing for a quote built around your team.

What payment options are available?

What if I do not pass the PMP exam the first time?

You have up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period, and our practice questions, mock exams and trainer support are designed to get you ready first time. Reexamination fees apply to later attempts, so confirm current amounts at pmi.org.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The PMP exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes, which is 3 hours 50 minutes, including two 10-minute breaks. It uses multiple question types, including multiple choice, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank.

What does the PMP exam cover?

The current exam, aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, covers five areas: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (15%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks (27%), Business Analysis and Strategic Management (18%), and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication (12%).

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback, so focus on broad mastery across all five areas of the exam.

Where can I take the PMP exam in Jordan?

You can sit the PMP exam at a Pearson VUE test centre or online from home or the office through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website once your application is approved.

Which standard is the current PMP exam based on?

The current PMP exam is based on the updated PMP Examination Content Outline aligned to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition. Our courseware reflects the 8th edition so you prepare against the standard the exam actually tests.

Course Content

Do I need prior experience to join this PMP course?

Anyone can enrol in the training and earn the 35 contact hours. To sit the PMP exam, PMI requires project leadership experience, either 36 months with a four-year degree or 60 months with a secondary diploma. We guide you on meeting these requirements.

What topics does the PMP training cover?

The training covers all five exam areas: project management fundamentals, predictive plan-based methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic management, and stakeholder engagement and communication, plus exam strategy and application support.

How many contact hours does the training provide?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and exam simulator access, plus topic-wise quizzes. These help you identify weak areas and build readiness for the 180-question exam.

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PMP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, so you study the predictive, agile and hybrid content the exam now tests.
