Complete the 4-day PeopleCert-accredited training, sit the Foundation exam (closed book), then the Practitioner exam (open book to the official manual).     Foundation has no formal prereqs. For Practitioner, confirm you hold PRINCE2 Foundation, PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, PMP, CAPM, or IPMA Level A/B/C/D.

    Step 2: Enrol in the Training Program

    Exam

    What is the format of the two PRINCE2 Agile exams?

    The Foundation exam has 40 questions, lasts 60 minutes, and is closed book with single-answer multiple choice. The Practitioner exam has 50 questions, lasts 150 minutes, and is open book with scenario-based questions using the PRINCE2 Agile publication.

    What are the passing scores?

    Both exams require 60% to pass. That is 24 out of 40 correct for Foundation and 30 out of 50 correct for Practitioner. You must pass both to hold both credentials.

    How are the exams delivered?

    Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert, either online proctored through the OnVUE system available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre. You can sit them from home or office in Kenya, or at a test centre where available.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    The PRINCE2 Agile publication is permitted during the Practitioner exam. However, questions require scenario analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient navigation of the publication and solid method knowledge are both needed.

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    You can re-sit the exam under PeopleCert's policy, and our trainers provide preparation and revision support to help you succeed. Verify the current re-sit policy and any fees at peoplecert.org.

    The programme covers the agile mindset, blending agile with PRINCE2, the five targets for agile and the PRINCE2 Agile hexagon, Scrum, Kanban and Lean Startup, agile techniques such as MoSCoW and timeboxing, progress tracking, and tailoring PRINCE2 Agile in real scenarios.

    Do I need prior agile experience to attend?

    No. The programme is beginner friendly and builds from the agile mindset upward. Prior familiarity with Scrum or Kanban is helpful but not required, and the trainer supports you through both Foundation and Practitioner content.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full mock exams for both levels, plus scenario practice for the open-book Practitioner exam, so you can identify weak areas and build readiness before exam day.
