    Scrum Theory and Empiricism

Skills covered in CSM training start with Scrum theory: the empirical foundations of Scrum, the three pillars of transparency, inspection and adaptation, and why the framework suits complex product work rather than predictive delivery.

    Living the Five Scrum Values

Understand how commitment, focus, openness, respect and courage build the trust and psychological safety that make Scrum teams effective, and learn the Scrum Master's role in modelling and fostering them.

    Building an Effective Scrum Team

Learn how the Scrum Master, Product Owner and Developers work as one small, self-managing, cross-functional team, and how self-management and cross-functionality play out in real delivery.

    Facilitating the Five Scrum Events

Gain the skills to facilitate the Sprint, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective, including timebox rules and retrospective formats that keep teams improving.

    Managing Scrum Artifacts and Commitments

Work with the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog and Increment and their commitments, the Product Goal, Sprint Goal and Definition of Done, to create transparency across the work and the product.

Leading as a Servant-Leader Scrum Master

Develop servant leadership across the three service areas, the team, the Product Owner and the organisation, with facilitation, coaching and impediment-removal techniques you can apply at work.
