Is there an exam for the Lean Manufacturing Training?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on tool exercises, waste identification activities, real manufacturing case examples and team discussion during the programme.

Do I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning after completing the programme. It recognises attendance and participation in the training rather than a formal external qualification.

How is my learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply Lean tools through practical exercises such as waste walks, 5S assessments, OEE calculations and kanban design, so you build and demonstrate capability while you learn.

Will this training make me a certified Lean professional?

This is a practical skills course, not a certification programme, so it does not award a formal Lean credential. It builds a comprehensive, immediately usable Lean toolkit and can serve as a strong foundation for further Lean study later.

Course Content

What topics are covered in the training?

The course covers six modules: Lean foundations and TPS, the eight wastes, value stream mapping, 5S and visual management, pull systems, kanban, JIT and TPM, and standard work, SMED, Heijunka, poka yoke and Lean culture, all with hands-on exercises.

What practical exercises are included?

You take part in a Gemba waste walk, value stream data collection, a 5S workplace assessment, an OEE calculation, kanban quantity calculation and standard work observation, so you practise every core Lean tool during the programme.

Does the course cover 5S, kanban and OEE?

Yes. The training covers 5S workplace organisation, pull systems and kanban design, and overall equipment effectiveness as part of total productive maintenance, alongside value stream mapping, standard work, SMED and Kaizen.

Is the content relevant to Mongolian factories?

Yes. The Lean toolkit applies across cashmere and textiles, food and beverage, dairy and mineral processing. In onsite training, exercises are applied directly to your own production environment for maximum relevance.

Is the course only for manufacturing environments?
