General
What does Invensis Learning provide in New Zealand?
Invensis Learning is a globally accredited training provider offering 60+ industry-recognised certification courses across project management, agile, DevOps, IT service management, quality management, IT governance and business analysis, serving learners and enterprise teams in New Zealand and 130+ countries.
Which certifications does Invensis Learning offer?
Invensis Learning trains professionals for PMP® and CAPM® from PMI, PRINCE2® and ITIL® 4 from AXELOS and PeopleCert, Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance, SAFe®, DevOps Foundation from DevOps Institute, Lean Six Sigma belts accredited by IASSC, and COBIT® from ISACA, each aligned to its official awarding body.
Are these certifications recognised by New Zealand employers?
Employers across New Zealand recognise them, because the credentials come from global bodies such as PMI, AXELOS, PeopleCert, Scrum Alliance, IASSC, DevOps Institute and ISACA, assessed to one worldwide standard. ICT, government, healthcare, construction and financial services teams list them in job adverts.
Who will be leading my training sessions?
Every trainer is an accredited, certified practitioner with 15+ years of hands-on experience in their domain. They have run these frameworks inside enterprise environments rather than only teaching them, so sessions stay practical and are anchored in the delivery, service and governance problems teams face daily.
Courses & Curriculum
How do I choose the right course for my career goal?
Start from the role you want next, whether that is leading projects, moving into agile delivery, running IT services, improving process quality or strengthening governance. Match that goal to the framework your sector in New Zealand actually hires for, then choose the level that fits the experience you already have.
Do I need work experience before I can enrol?
The awarding body sets the prerequisites, not us. Foundation courses such as ITIL® 4 Foundation, CAPM® and Certified ScrumMaster are open entry, with no experience needed. PMP® and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt require documented work experience to be eligible, which cannot be waived. New entrants should start there.
How long is a course, and does it include exam preparation?
Most foundation programmes run 16 to 24 hours, while advanced ones such as PMP®, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and SAFe® typically run 32 to 40 hours across weekdays, weekends or accelerated formats. Exam preparation is built in, with study plans, mock exams, sample questions and doubt-clearing sessions.
Delivery & Schedule
What training formats are available in New Zealand?
Four formats are available: live virtual instructor-led classes, in-person classroom sessions, onsite corporate cohorts run at your own workplace, and one-to-one coaching. Teams split across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch commonly mix live virtual for individuals with onsite delivery for whole squads.
Can I attend live virtual classes from anywhere in the country?
Live virtual classes run in New Zealand Standard Time, so you can join from a city office, a regional site or home without travelling. Sessions are fully interactive with direct trainer access, and every class is recorded, so you can revisit any topic when it suits.
What happens if I miss a scheduled session?
Every live session is recorded and published to your learner dashboard, so you can catch up on anything you miss and revisit topics before the exam. If a work deadline pulls you away from a whole class, you can request a complimentary make-up session in a future batch.
Corporate Training
Do you run corporate training for New Zealand teams?
Enterprises across New Zealand book cohort-based corporate training for delivery, service and improvement teams. Sessions are scheduled around local business hours and can run onsite or live virtual, with centralised reporting for learning and development leads and documentation that supports audits and tenders.
Can programmes be tailored to our internal frameworks?
Each corporate programme is shaped around your industry, tooling, role structures and target outcomes, so examples and exercises use scenarios your people recognise. That is what makes the training translate into measurable change in the way projects, services and processes actually run.
How do we request a corporate training proposal?
Complete the corporate training form on this site or speak with a learning advisor about your cohort size, target credentials and preferred dates. You will then receive a tailored proposal covering curriculum, delivery schedule and pricing within 24 hours.
Payment & Support
What payment options do learners in New Zealand have?
All major credit and debit cards, bank transfers and PayPal are accepted, along with popular regional payment methods used in New Zealand. Instalment options are available on selected courses, so the cost of a longer programme can be spread rather than paid in one go.
Is there a refund policy if I cannot attend?
Refunds and rescheduling follow a transparent published policy. You can request a full refund within the stated cooling-off period, or move to a future batch at no extra cost if your dates change, and the full terms are shared with you at the point of enrolment.
What support do I get after the course finishes?
Support continues after the final session. Learners keep exam guidance, query resolution, downloadable resources and access to the learner community, so the gap between finishing the class and sitting the exam is covered rather than left to you alone.
