    Do I need risk experience to take the training?

    Anyone can attend the training to build risk skills and earn contact hours. To sit the exam, PMI requires project risk management experience and education under one of three eligibility sets. A learning advisor can help you check your path.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-RMP exam?

    PMI offers three paths: Set A (secondary diploma, 36 months of risk experience in the last 5 years, 40 hours of education); Set B (bachelor's degree, 24 months, 30 hours); or Set C (GAC-accredited degree, 12 months, 30 hours). Experience must be specific to project risk.
