Yes. Business analysts are in strong demand across Swedish banking, telecom, manufacturing and public sector organisations, with salaries ranging from around kr 580,000 for entry roles to about kr 930,000 for senior analysts. A BCS-backed EXIN credential signals validated, applied capability that employers value.

What is the EXIN BCS Business Analysis certification?

It is a two-level credential from EXIN, developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation level validates knowledge of business analysis concepts and techniques, while the Practitioner level validates the ability to apply them in real project scenarios. Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

    Who should take this course?

The programme suits aspiring business analysts, IT professionals, testers, project managers, product owners and practising analysts who want a globally recognised qualification. It is well suited to professionals across Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo entering or formalising a business analysis career.

    Is the certification recognised internationally?

Yes. EXIN operates in over 165 countries and BCS is the UK's chartered professional body for IT. The combined credential has strong recognition across Europe, including Sweden, as well as the UK, Commonwealth, Asia and the Middle East.

    Pricing

What is included in the training fee?

How much does the training cost in Sweden?

Pricing varies by delivery format and package and is quoted in Swedish krona. The EXIN exam voucher fees are billed separately and vary by region and channel. Contact a learning advisor for current pricing for Sweden.

Is the exam fee included in the price?

Exam voucher inclusion depends on the package you choose. EXIN prices Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers separately, and figures vary by region and purchasing channel. Ask our team which packages include the vouchers.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

    Exam

What is the format of the two exams?

Both exams are closed book with 40 multiple-choice questions and a 60-minute duration. The Foundation exam uses single-answer questions across 14 topic areas, while the Practitioner exam uses scenario-based questions across 7 topic areas that test applied judgement.

    What is the passing score?

The passing score is 65% for both exams, which is 26 out of 40 questions correct. This applies to the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam alike.

Are there prerequisites for the exams?

The Foundation exam has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Foundation certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner exam, which is why the combined programme covers both levels in sequence.

Where can I sit the exams?

You can take both exams online through EXIN's online proctored exam system, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. They are typically arranged through an EXIN accredited training provider as part of the combined programme.

What if I do not pass the first time?

You can re-sit an EXIN exam by purchasing a new voucher; verify the current re-sit policy at exin.com. Our trainer guidance, mock exams and practice questions are designed to prepare you thoroughly for both attempts.

    Course Content

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The Foundation stage assumes no prior business analysis knowledge and starts from core concepts, so beginners and career changers can follow it. The Practitioner stage then builds applied skill, with trainer support throughout.

What topics does the programme cover?

It covers business analysis concepts, investigation techniques, requirements engineering, business process modelling with BPMN, stakeholder analysis, strategy analysis using PESTLE and SWOT, and business case development, followed by applying these techniques in Practitioner scenarios.

    What learning resources are provided?

Learners receive BCS-aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, along with trainer-led guidance and post-training support.

Is the courseware aligned to the current standard?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge and the official EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications, so you prepare against the current standard.

How is the training delivered and how long is it?

The combined programme is delivered as a 32-hour instructor-led course, available in live virtual, classroom and corporate formats. The number of days varies by schedule, and the Foundation content is usually covered before the Practitioner content.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you need help choosing a batch.
