How to Get PMP Certified in Slovak RepublicStep-by-Step Certification Process

The PMP certification path in Slovak Republic is designed for experienced project managers. You complete the required 35 contact hours, document your project leadership experience, apply to PMI, prepare with mocks and assessments, and schedule your exam through Pearson VUE. Once you pass, you join the global community of 1.2 million+ PMP-certified professionals.

    Step 1: Eligibility Check

Confirm you meet one of PMI's two pathways: a four-year degree with 36 months of project leadership experience, or a secondary degree with 60 months of experience. Both pathways require 35 hours of project management education.

    Step 2: Enroll

Select the learning format that best suits your schedule and goals, including online, instructor-led, and corporate PMP training for teams. Once enrolled, you gain access to courseware, schedules, and a structured study plan to earn the required 35 contact hours.

    Step 3: Attend Classes

Complete live instructor-led sessions or self-paced learning modules included in your PMP training course online or classroom-based program. Participate in case discussions and cover the PMP syllabus across the People, Process, and Business Environment domains, including predictive, agile, and hybrid project management approaches.

Step 4: Document Experience and Apply to PMI

Document your project leadership experience (36 or 60 months, depending on pathway) and submit your PMP application to PMI. Our team supports you with the application process and experience documentation.

    Step 5: Preparation

Use 1,500+ practice questions, 5 full-length PMP mock exams, 1 Agile model exam, flashcards, and the exam simulator to strengthen weak areas and build speed for the 180-question exam.

Step 6: Schedule and Take the Exam

Once your PMI application is approved, schedule your exam at a Pearson VUE test center or take it online, proctored. Take the 230-minute, 180-question PMP exam covering People, Process, and Business Environment.

Step 7: Pass and Get Certified

After passing, you receive your PMP credential and digital badge, valid for three years. Maintain certification with 60 PDUs across the three-year cycle (35 in Education, 25 in Giving Back).

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It suits experienced project managers, team leads and delivery professionals ready to prove their skills.

    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It suits experienced project managers, team leads and delivery professionals ready to prove their skills.

Is the PMP certification worth it in Slovakia?

Yes. Employers across Slovakia's IT services, shared service centres, automotive and BFSI sectors value the PMP, and certified project leaders are in short supply. Project managers in the country average around 43,400 euro gross a year, with senior and programme roles paying considerably more.

    Is the PMP recognised internationally?

Yes. The PMP is recognised in more than 200 countries and is widely regarded as the global gold standard of project management certification. It is referenced in employer job specifications, client contracts and procurement requirements worldwide, so it travels with you across sectors and borders.

What are the prerequisites for the PMP?

There are two paths. With a four-year degree you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary diploma you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours. This training provides the required contact hours.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) across PMI's Talent Triangle within each three-year cycle, reported through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements system.

    Pricing

How much does PMP training cost in the Slovak Republic?

Training fees vary by format, from self-paced e-learning to instructor-led live online and classroom options. The exact price depends on the plan you choose. Contact a learning advisor for current pricing and to request a quote for your preferred format.

What is included in the PMP course fee?

The fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 35 contact hours of training, practice questions, mock exams, downloadable templates, application guidance and learner support. The PMI exam fee is billed separately and is not part of the training price.

How much is the PMP exam fee?

PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing. For reference, it is around USD 405 for PMI members and USD 555 for non-members; verify current fees at pmi.org. Membership, about USD 139 a year, lowers the exam cost and gives free access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, delivery units and leadership teams across Slovakia. Ask about corporate or group pricing to get a tailored quote for your organisation.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The PMP exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes), including two 10-minute breaks. It uses multiple question types, including multiple choice, multiple response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank.

What are the PMP exam domains?

The updated exam aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition covers five domains: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (15%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (27%), Business Analysis and Strategic Management (18%), and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication (12%).

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

Where can I take the PMP exam?

You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website within your one-year eligibility window.

What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You are allowed up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period from application approval. A reexamination fee applies to the second and third attempts. Our practice questions, mock exams and trainer support are designed to help you prepare thoroughly the first time.

    Course Content

What does the PMP training cover?

The training covers every domain the exam tests: project management fundamentals, predictive plan-based methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic management, and stakeholder engagement and communication, plus exam strategy and application guidance.

Does the PMP exam and course cover agile?
