    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam is closed book with 60 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 60%, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 7 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam is open book, with the PRINCE2 7 manual permitted. It has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks over 150 minutes, using scenario-based objective questions. The pass mark is 60%, which is 42 out of 70 marks.

    What are the prerequisites for the PRINCE2 exams?

    Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. In the combined course you take Foundation first, then Practitioner.
