    Exam

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 exams?

    There are two exams. Foundation is closed book, 60 questions, 60 minutes, single-answer multiple choice. Practitioner is open book, 150 minutes, with 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, using scenario-based objective test questions.

    What is the passing score for each PRINCE2 exam?

    Both exams require 60% to pass. For Foundation that is 36 out of 60 questions correct, and for Practitioner that is 42 out of 70 marks. Both are based on the PRINCE2 7 syllabus.

    Do I need Foundation before taking the Practitioner exam?

    Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation is required before Practitioner. PeopleCert also accepts certain equivalents such as PMP, CAPM and IPMA Level A to D. Foundation itself has no formal prerequisites and is open to all.

    Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

    You can sit both exams online through PeopleCert's online proctored system, available 24/7, or at an authorised PeopleCert test centre. Exams are usually arranged as part of your combined training and exam package.

    What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

    Do I need prior experience to take this course?
