    What is the passing score?

    The passing score is 65% for both exams, which is 26 correct answers out of 40. The same threshold applies to the Foundation and the Practitioner exam.

    What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can re-sit the exam by booking another attempt through EXIN. Our training includes mock exams and practice questions for both levels to help you prepare thoroughly and sit each exam with confidence. Verify the current re-sit policy with EXIN.

    Where can I take the EXIN BCS exams?

    You can sit both exams online through EXIN's online proctored system from home or the office, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. Exams are typically arranged through the training provider as part of the combined programme.

    Are there prerequisites for the exams?

    The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The EXIN BCS Foundation Certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner level, which is why the combined course covers Foundation first, then Practitioner.

    What topics are covered in the training?

    The programme covers the full syllabus: Foundation topics such as investigation techniques, requirements engineering, business process modelling, stakeholder management, strategy analysis and business case development, followed by the seven applied Practitioner topics that put those techniques into project scenarios.

    The combined instructor-led programme runs for 32 hours, delivered as a 4-day intensive or spread across more days depending on the daily schedule. Foundation content is typically covered first, followed by Practitioner content.

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner examination specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so what you study reflects what the exams assess.
