    The Foundation exam is closed book with 60 multiple-choice questions to answer in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 60%, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam is open book, using the PRINCE2 manual, with 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks over 150 minutes. The pass mark is 60%, which is 42 out of 70 marks. It tests applying and tailoring PRINCE2 to project scenarios.

    What are the passing scores for the two exams?

    Both exams require 60% to pass. Foundation needs 36 out of 60 questions correct, and Practitioner needs 42 out of 70 marks. You must pass both to hold the Foundation and Practitioner credentials.
