    Do I need prior experience to take this course?

    No. The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to all, so beginners are welcome. The Foundation builds your base and the Practitioner then develops applied technique, making the combined programme a complete route for those new to business analysis.

    What topics does the course cover?

    The course covers investigation techniques, requirements engineering, business process and requirements modelling, strategy analysis, stakeholder management and business case development, spanning the 14 Foundation topic areas and the 7 applied Practitioner topic areas.

    What is the difference between Foundation and Practitioner?

    Foundation tests knowledge and comprehension of business analysis concepts across 14 topic areas. Practitioner tests application and analysis of those techniques across 7 topic areas using scenario-based questions. Foundation is the recommended prerequisite for Practitioner.

    What learning resources are provided?

    You receive official BCS-aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, plus trainer guidance and learner support throughout the programme.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner examination specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so you prepare against the standard the exams are based on.
