    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam is closed book with 60 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 60%, meaning 36 out of 60 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam is open book, allowing the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual. It has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, lasts 150 minutes, and requires 60% to pass, that is 42 out of 70 marks. It is scenario based and tests application and tailoring.

    What are the prerequisites for each exam?

    PRINCE2 Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. Verify current accepted equivalents with PeopleCert.

    Where and how do I take the PeopleCert exams?

    You can sit both exams online through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctoring, available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre. In a combined programme the Foundation exam is usually taken first, followed by the Practitioner exam.

    What happens if I do not pass an exam the first time?
