    General

Is the CSM certification worth it in Shenzhen?

Yes. The Certified ScrumMaster is the world's most recognised entry-level Scrum Master credential and is valued by Shenzhen employers across internet, gaming, fintech and hardware teams that run agile delivery. Scrum Master roles in the city average around ¥400,000 a year, and certified professionals stand out in a market with deep developer talent but fewer credentialed Scrum Masters.

How long is the CSM certification valid?

The CSM is valid for two years. To renew, you earn 16 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) and pay the Scrum Alliance membership renewal fee within each two-year cycle. SEUs can be earned through training, conferences, coaching, teaching and self-study.

Do I need experience to take the CSM course?
