Scrum Skills You Will BuildFacilitation, Coaching and Delivery

This CSM programme builds the practical Scrum Master capability behind the credential. By the end, you can facilitate Scrum events, coach a self-managing team, and apply the framework and its values in real delivery, all aligned to the current Scrum Guide.

    Scrum Theory and Empiricism

The skills covered in CSM start with the foundations: apply empirical process control and the three pillars of transparency, inspection and adaptation to guide complex work, and see why Scrum fits complex problems better than predictive delivery.

    Living the Five Scrum Values

Put Commitment, Focus, Openness, Respect and Courage into practice, and learn how modelling these values builds the trust and psychological safety that make Scrum teams effective.

    Facilitating the Five Scrum Events

Run Sprint Planning, the Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective within the Sprint, respecting every timebox, and protect the team's focus so each event stays productive.

    Managing the Three Scrum Artifacts

Work with the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog and Increment, and apply their commitments, the Product Goal, Sprint Goal and Definition of Done, to keep the work transparent and outcome-focused.

    Coaching the Scrum Team

Understand the Scrum Master, Product Owner and Developers as complementary accountabilities, and coach self-management and cross-functionality so the team owns how it delivers value.

    Servant Leadership and Impediment Removal

Lead as a servant leader across the three service areas, the team, the Product Owner and the organisation, using facilitation and coaching techniques to remove impediments and enable delivery.
