    The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 40 minutes. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 50 percent, meaning 25 out of 50 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension across the five change management topic areas.

    What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam is open book, using the Change Management Practitioner Guide, and lasts 2.5 hours. It has five scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, and the pass mark is 50 percent, meaning 40 out of 80 marks.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    Open book means the Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the exam. However, the scenario sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential, and we practise this technique in class.

    What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    What will I learn in this change management course?

    You will learn to manage the individual and organisational sides of change using models such as ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Model, Lewin's model, McKinsey 7-S and Bridges' Transition Model. You also cover stakeholder engagement, change planning, resistance management and professional practice across all five CMBoK topic areas.

    Do I need prior experience to take this course?

    No prior experience is required for Foundation, which is open to all. The Practitioner level is designed for those applying change approaches in real contexts, but the combined programme supports beginners and experienced professionals alike with structured, hands-on learning.

    Which change models and frameworks are covered?

    The syllabus covers ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, the McKinsey 7-S framework, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence, applied across individual and organisational change.

    Is the courseware aligned with the current standard?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute, the Change Management Practitioner Guide, and the current Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.
