    How many exams are in the combined programme?

    Two separate EXIN exams: the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials. The combined training prepares you for each exam in one programme.

    Course Content

    What topics does the Foundation level cover?

    Foundation covers 14 topic areas, including what business analysis is, strategy analysis, investigation techniques, stakeholder management, business process modelling, requirements engineering and business-case development, all aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

    What does the Practitioner level cover?

    Practitioner covers 7 topic areas focused on applying BA techniques in project scenarios: rationale for business analysis, strategic context, the current situation, stakeholder management, modelling business activities, identifying solutions and building the business case.

    How long is the training programme?

    The combined Foundation and Practitioner programme is delivered as 32 hours of instructor-led training. The number of days depends on the schedule format, for example intensive full-day or extended half-day sessions.

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Yes. The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to all, so beginners can start here. The programme then builds from foundational concepts to applied Practitioner techniques with trainer support throughout.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest EXIN BCS specifications?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so you study exactly what the exams assess.
