You will learn the full DMADV roadmap and its core tools: VOC capture and the Kano model, CTQ flow-down and QFD, concept selection with the Pugh matrix, Design FMEA, robust design and design verification. Each is practised on realistic product and process design scenarios.

What tools and techniques are covered?

The course covers the Voice of the Customer, Kano model, CTQ flow-down, Quality Function Deployment (House of Quality), Pugh concept selection, Design FMEA and RPN, the P-diagram and Taguchi robust design, design tolerancing, and design verification and validation.

How long is the training and how is it delivered?

The programme runs as a focused one-day, eight-hour course, available in live virtual, classroom and corporate onsite formats. It can also be split into two half-days depending on the schedule. Contact us for upcoming dates.

Are there hands-on exercises?

Yes. Hands-on exercises run throughout, including VOC-to-CTQ flow-down, building a QFD House of Quality, a Pugh concept-selection matrix and a Design FMEA worksheet, all applied to realistic design scenarios so you can use the tools straight away.

Do I need engineering experience to follow it?

No specific experience is required. The course introduces every DFSS tool from first principles, so design engineers, quality professionals and NPD managers can all follow it. Basic familiarity with Six Sigma concepts is helpful but not essential.
