    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. It is closed book and requires 60% to pass, meaning 36 correct out of 60. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 7 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, over 150 minutes. It is open book, with the PRINCE2 manual permitted, and scenario based. You need 60%, which is 42 out of 70 marks, to pass.

    How many exams are there in the combined programme?

    There are two separate PeopleCert exams: the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials. The combined training prepares you for each level in turn.

    Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

    You can take both exams online through PeopleCert's OnVUE online proctoring, available around the clock, or at an authorised test centre. Exams are typically arranged as part of your training and exam package.

    What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can re-sit a PRINCE2 exam; re-sit policies and fees are set by PeopleCert. Our exam preparation, practice questions and mock exams are designed to build your readiness for both levels. Ask an advisor about re-take support in your package.
